I studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. My first study was Flute and I worked mainly with John Wiggins and Richard Chester. After four years of study, I obtained a BA Music Performance and an Advanced Diploma in Harmony & Composition. While there, I did a lot of ensemble and solo work. I also premiered several works including Sonata for Flute by John Weeks (who was a professor at the college.)
I now lead a varied musical life performing, teaching, coaching and examining as a specialist woodwind examiner.
